SOME MORE STORIES

Looking for some old stuff?

Hopefully you will find it here!

As Australia's first IVF 'baby', fertility health issues were literally dinner table discussions.

However, not everyone understands how difficult it can be to become a parent. In 2015, with a good friend and fellow first-generation iVFling Rebecca Feathertstone Jelen, we launched Fertility Matters. It's a health and education campaign on a mission to update school curriculum.

I wrote a short reflection on our campaign for IVFBabble.com. Read it here

Community storytelling is a prose I have only recently been exploring. My studies in Community Development and experience of writing lend nicely to helping tell stories of positive change from the inside.

'Knowledge from Kings' is a work I am particularly proud of. An amazing friend, Rebecca Harrington, and I worked on this while on university placement. Of the six storytellers, four have since passed away.

Please learn from their powerful stories here.

Notes of Change is another community storytelling project. These stories were slightly more personal and reflective of a time when I was fully immersed in motherhood with two pre-schoolers. Individually these stories are powerful and combined illustrate how local initiatives designed for local communities have a trickle out effect for creating lasting changes. Read the impact here.

Hopefully it ignited the imagination of younger readers and older readers to head along and check out the renowned day full of magic!
