ABOUT
Let me introduce myself; I am Candice Thum (nee Reed).
Born at the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne, in 1980, I grew up with my older brother and amazing parents in a small country area.

Writing and reading have always been a passion. I spent my primary school years constantly writing short stories and through my late teens and early 20s I worked as a journalist, learning the trade as a young cadet.

In 2002, I moved to the big smoke of London and worked a number of random jobs from retail to a Para Legal and office admin for a forensic science company. All the while writing freelance as I went.

During my time in the UK I met my wonderful husband and in 2006 we moved to his home country, New Zealand. Fast forward a few years and we are settled in Auckland, married with a daughter, a son and two chickens.

I love my life and my family. Writing is still there. Through this website I hope to share some of my words with you.
